Reynolds, Howard David -Age 78 of Fairfield, OH went home to be with his Lord on December 1, 2008 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born June 18, 1930 in Vicco, KY, the son of Raymond and Ethel (Roark) Reynolds. Howard was a 1948 graduate of Vicco High School and was a veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Reynolds began working as a Hamilton Police Officer in 1959 spending 10 years as a Motor Officer. He retired from HPD in 1985. Howard was a member of the F.O.P # 38 in Hamilton; Chaplain for the Sons of Union Veterans of Civil War Keller # 8 in Fairfield. Also, Mr. Reynolds was a active member of Lindenwald Baptist Church in Fairfield, where he served as a Deacon, Sunday school teacher and choir member. On September 22, 1951 Howard married Eudora Hunley, who later preceded him in death on August 10, 2000. On September 13, 2003, he married Priscilla Benke-Keller. He leaves behind his wife, Priscilla Reynolds; children, Bob (Hildie) Reynolds, Karen (Keith) Green, Dennis (Teresa) Keller, Craig (Sandy) Keller, and Kim (Dale) Werk; brothers, James (Janice) Reynolds; Roger (Linda) Reynolds and Danny (Bobbie) Reynolds, Nancy (Estill) Adams, Ann (Charles) Deaton, Pat Duncil, Carolyn (Richard) Kimberly, Paula (Ellis) Coots, Wanda (Wentz) Walker, and Juanita (Elmer) Raleigh; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He will also be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and extended church family. Howard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eudora Reynolds; and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. December 6, 2008 at the Lindenwald Baptist Church, 460 Symmes Rd., Fairfield, OH with Pastor Randy Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. December 5, 2008 at the church. Memorials may be made to the Lindenwald Baptist Church or to the Hamilton Police Employee designating for Special Olympic Children. Reynolds, Glois June -73, of Vicco, died Monday, August 25 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was the daughter of the late Frank Fields and the late Latefa Mullins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Reynolds. She is survived by one daughter, Donna and Charlie Hendrix; sons Freddy and Shirley Reynolds, Stevie Reynolds and Tony Reynolds; sister Hilda and Tom Pierce; brothers Frankie and Brenda Fields and Christopher and Joyce Fields; grandchildren Dougie Reynolds and Ann Lisa Sexton; great great grandchildren Dylan Duncan, Latefa Duncan, and Pandora Reynolds. She is also survived by special friends Rocky Pelphrey, Greg Rodgers, Peggy Hurley, Lisa Smith and Kris and Mary Bowling. Arrangements were handled by Maggard Brothers Funeral Home. Reynolds, Jerry Lee Sr. joined the saints eternal on May 30, 2009, slipping away peacefully in his sleep. Mr. Reynolds was born in Buckhorn, KY on Nov. 1, 1921 to Elihu and Doralee Bowling Reynolds, parents of 8 sons and 1 daughter. Mr. Reynolds attended Eastern Kentucky University as a pre-medical student until his induction into the US Army's 81st Infantry Division Wildcats in WWII. A decorated war hero, he earned two Silver Stars, a Bronze Star, and Purple Hearts among others. He was decorated for "uncommon valor" in combat by repeatedly risking his life to save the lives of his fellow soldiers. He moved to Hamilton, OH after the war and married Dora Lee Evelyn Burnett on January 16, 1954. Together they reared three sons, Paul Richard Reynolds, Rev. Jerry Lee Reynolds, Jr., and Jack Kelson Reynolds. His wife Evelyn and two sons Paul and Jack precede him in death. Mr. Reynolds enjoyed his career as a paper worker at Beckett Paper Company until his retirement in 1988. A res!
ident of Lindenwald, he and wife Evelyn enjoyed their lifetime home on Hayes Avenue until moving to Atlanta, GA in 2007. An avid Cincinnati Reds fan and passionate UK Wildcats fan, Jerry most enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. His siblings Margaret Eversole and Tom (TK) Reynolds, both of Fairfield, OH and his brother Jack M, Reynolds, Lake City, FL survive him. He leaves behind his son the Rev. Jerry L. Reynolds, Jr. and daughter-in-law Ann, and three granddaughters Erin Elizabeth, Kelly Marie, and Casey Lee Reynolds. It brought Mr. Reynolds great joy being surrounded by his family in Atlanta. Reynolds, LaRue C. -age 82, of Hamilton, OH passed away September 26,2008. The son of Elihu and Dora (Bowling) Reynolds, he was born in Buckhorn, KY on August 4, 1926. He was a graduate of Buckhorn High School and attended Eastern Kentucky College. For forty years he had been a valued employee of Beckett Paper Company. He served his country with honor during the Korean War. Survivors include three brothers; T.K. Rice, Carl Venton  ~ age 74 of Vandalia, OH passed away January 23, 2009 in Miami Valley Hospital. He was born in Hazard, KY on February 17, 1934 the son of Carlo & Elsie Mae (Sheets) Rice. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean War and an active member of the Vandalia Baptist Temple. Carl enjoyed the reunions each year with his shipmates from the USS Rupertus. Richerson, Mrs. Leona -the wife of Rev. Buron L. Richerson, whom she married on September 15, 1945, passed away at her resident in Murray, Kentucky, on Saturday afternoon, Feburary 9.  At the time of her death, she was 80 years of age. Mrs. Richerson was born to the late Samuel S. and Carrie Wilkerson Hogancamp on April 6, 1927, in Wayne County, Michigan.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl and Thomas and her twin brother, Leon Hogancamp. Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughters,  Brenda and husband Fred Hart of Hazel, and Pamela and husband Jim Gibbs of Lawrenceburg.  She is also survived by her son, Roger Richerson of Lexington; her brother, Wayne Hogancamp and wife Lillian of Gardena, California; her sisters-in-law, Robbie Lassister and husband Charles of Ellijay, Georgia, and Adele Richerson of Paducah. Mrs. Richerson was the grand mother of David and wife Christy Hart, Paul and wife Stacy Hart, Christina and husband Steve Shetlander, Jennifer and husband Corey Braddock, Melissa and husband Chad Hardin and James and Valerie Gibbs.  She was the great-grandmother of Charlie Wood, Avery, Morgan and Spencer Hart, Ian and Addison Hart and the step great-grandmother of Mark Shelhamer. Among her eleven nieces and nephews, she is survived by Wanda and husband Ronnie Walker and Mason and wife Wilma Billington. Mrs. Richerson had attended Union University and Murray State University.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church and The Paris and Spares Sunday School Class. The family received friends from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday, February 11 at the Blalock-Coleman and York Funeral Home where the service was conducted on Tuesday afternoon with Rev. John Sheppard and Rev. Boyd Smith officiating.  Music was by Joan Bowker.  Pallbearers were David Hart, Paul Hart, James Gibbs, Steve Shelhamer, Corey Braddock and Chad Hardin.  Honorary Pallbearers were members of the Pairs and Spares and Baraca Sunday School Classes of First Baptist Church.

Riddle, Ms. Madelyn -born November 25, 1923, departed this life on Monday, August 11 at the Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center. She was 84 years, eight months and 26 days of age at the time of her passing. She was born in Lothair the daughter of the late Charles Monroe Riddle and the late Louraniah Campbell Riddle. She was a life-long resident of Perry County and was a long time employee of Jerry’s restaurant in Hazard. She is preceded in death by five brothers: Norval, Olbert, Odis, Charles and James Riddle. She leaves the following relatives surviving: three sisters, Loretta Sturgeon of Las Vegas, Nevada, Betty Sparkman of Cromona, Ky. and Shirley Stacy Wallick of Peoria, Az.; special friends Debbie Hall of Lothair and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive. He was born in Hazard, KY on November 20, 1938, the son of Wade and Mary Ellen (Wooten) Ritchie. Buddy was a member of the Union Club. He retired from the Ohio Operating Engineers Union Local #18 as a heavy equipment operator with 30 years of service. Buddy enjoyed going to auctions, working in the garden, restoring old cars, watching NASCAR, football, and CNN. Roberson, Ola - born March 31, 1943, departed this life on  Thursday, October 30 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. She was 65 years, six  months and 29 days of age at the time of her passing., She was born in  Perry County, the daughter of the late Luther Johnson and the late Alta West  Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Roberson and  three brothers. She was a lifelong resident of Perry County and was  affiliated with the Chavies First Church of God and enjoyed quilting and her  animals. She leaves the following relatives surviving: sons Randall Lee  Roberson and wife Genevia of Carr Fork and Luther Roberson and wife Cheryl of  Gays Creek; daughter Janet Miller and husband James of Rowdy; seven sisters, 13  grandchildren and one great grandchild along with a host of other relatives and  friends.Funeral  services were conducted on Sunday, November 2 at the Engle-Walker Perry County  Chapel with Emmitt Campbell and Marion Slone, Jr. officiating. The
burial  followed in the Russell Roberson Cemetery located at Gays  Creek.

Roberts, Roland - of Slemp passed away on Saturday, March 8, at the Eastern Kentucky Veteran’s Center in Hazard.  At the time of his death, Mr. Roberts was eighty-nine years of age. Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Zona Roberts; daughters, Oda Cox of Illinois, Mavis Holbrook, Eunice Holbrook and Orpha Cornett all of Slemp; step-daughters, Eulah Turner of Slemp, Carol Hendrickson of Cumberland, Geneva Pennington of Letcher and Prudie Lewis of Hazard; sons, Manis Roberts of Slemp and Mason Roberts of Indiana; step-son Carson Eldridge of Somerset and his sister, Evie Roberts Bolling of Manchester.  He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren , nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family received friends on Monday evening, March 10, at the Brashear-Callahan Funeral Home where the funeral service was conducted on Tuesday afternoon, March 11, at 1:00 PM with Church of Christ Pastors Jeff Roberts and Teddy Burke officiating.  The burial was at the Beech Fork Cemetery. Robinson, Albert ~ born December 14, 1948, passed away on Wednesday, March 25 at the Hazard ARH medical center. He was 60 years of age at the time of his passing. He was born in Hazard, the son of the late James Robinson and  Opal Griffith. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Harold and  Ervin Robinson, and sister Alene Hughes. He is survived by his wife,  Linda Smith Robinson Of Upper Second Creek;
daughters Missy Sumner and Rodney  and Shawna and Randy, both of Vicco, Anita and Jeff Walker of Hazard; brothers  James Robinson, Jr. and Robert Robinson of Hazard; sister Nell Deaton; special  brother-in-law Ronnie and wife Sue; grandchildren Rodney, Ricky, Brandon and  wife Megan, Keisha and Adam, Jeffrey, and Brittany; great grandchild Aiden;  special niece Mary and J.B. and Tish and Whitney; special nephew D.J. and a host  of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday,  March 28 at the Upper Second Creek Church with Rev. Jack Carter officiating.  Burial followed at the Smith Cemetery at Upper Second Creek. Robinson, Donald Ray Sr. age 72, of Lebanon, OH passed away December 11, 2008 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Blue Diamond, KY on November 26, 1936, son of Herbert L. and Goldie Belle Robinson. He was a veteran of the Navy. Mr. Robinson worked for the Railroad, for Chrysler Air Temp and operated several filling stations in the area. He and his wife were members of the Church of God. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Lynda Louise (Quinton) Robinson; 2 daughters, Robin Marie Simpson of Grand Island, NY and Angela Louise (husband, Thomas G. III) Bellaw of Jacksonville, FL; 3 sons, Richard Earl (wife, Tamra Lynn) Robinson of Lebanon, OH, Donald Ray (wife, Elizabeth C.) Robinson, Jr., of Franklin, OH, and Anthony Wayne (wife, Suzette) Robinson of Fuquay Varina, NC; 13 grandchildren, Jamie Robinson, Samantha Robinson, Ryan Rothermel, Rachel Simpson, Jonathan Bruce Simpson, Kelsey Robinson, Kayla Robinson, Ashley Robinson, Megan Bellaw, Melissa Bellaw, Michael Robinson, Christina Ann Robinson, and Collin Robinson; 5 great-grandchildren, Brittney, Rad, Solomon, Alexia, and Elizabeth; a sister, Frankie Carol; 2 brothers, Charles (Beulah) Robinson, and Freddie G. (Geneva) Robinson; and 2 sisters-in-law, Evelyn Robinson and June Robinson. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Herbert Jr., Bill, and Leroy. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM December 16, 2008 at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM December 17, 2008. Officiating will be Pastor James R. Compton. Burial will follow in North Monroe Cemetery with military honors provided by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Lung Association. Roseberry, Robert Allen -age 48 of Carlisle, OH passed away October 4, 2008 at his residence. He was born July 8, 1960 in Hazard, KY the son of Bonnie and Bobby Roseberry. He is preceded in death by his father. Robert is survived by his mother, a daughter Regan Scearce of Franklin, OH, a sister, Debra Lynn Roseberry of Middletown, OH and two grandchildren. He is also survived by two nephews, Chris and Brandon. Rowe, Martha Ann Spencer -88, of London, OH died June 10, 2008, at her residence. She was born September 14, 1919, in Hazard, KY, the daughter of James and Abbie (Crawford) Spencer. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Rowe of London, OH; son, Ronald (Ruth) Rowe of West Jefferson, OH; sisters, Lillian Gallatin of Gray's Lake, IL, Clara (Bill) Calhoun of Jackson, OH; granddaughter, Kristy (Roger) Alkire-Cook of London; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Nicole and Noah Cook; brother-in-law, George Rowe Jr. of London. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pearl 1977; five brothers; five sisters. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. June 17, 2008, at the Deercreek Township Cemetery.
