Caudill, H. B. Born: May 28, 1926 Died: February 8, 1995
The time is 2:00 A.M. Tonight 1 cannot sleep because there is such a void in my life since H.B. is no longer with us. I have a strong belief that he has gone to a more peaceful world, and is no longer living with the pain he endured for so long. Without this belief,- life without him would so much harder to bear. H.B. was such a wonderful husband and father, and a friend to all who knew him. He joined the Doty Creek Church April 13, 1974, and was baptized May 12, 1974. He served the Lord faithfully, and attended church as often as he could. Living so far away made it difficult for him to attend as often as he would have liked, but he was always there in spirit. Funeral services were held in Oxford on February 11, 1995/ with participation by Ellis Amburgey, Hendrix Hampton, and other family friends. Together we have five wonderful children. Each loved their father more than words can describe, as H.B. loved his parents, the late Alva and Betty Caudill. His brothers and sisters were so dedicated to him during his illness, and came to see him often. I'll always hold a special place in my heart for you, Dorothy, Evalee, Betty Ann, Sterlin, Lowell, Elmer, and his dear departed brother and sister, Bufford and Lorie. I sometimes visualize H.B., Bufford, and Lorie, being in heaven with their parents and their young brother A.D., who has been in that beautiful place since he was a young child. As H.B. was on his death bed, he reached his arms toward heaven saying, "Master, Master, I love You so, and I'm not afraid to die." The arms that reached down to him as he lay dying, are the same arms I hope will reach down for me when my life is no more. We miss him and may the Lord give him the strength and joy this world cannot provide.
In Loving Memory of our Dear Husband, Father, and Brother, Dalna Caudill and Family

That is all she wanted to be, and now she is in Heaven, where we all long to go. Her husband, Rex said she was born to love. She was loved by her family and by the brothers and sisters of her church. She had a special love for the Blair Branch Church, and was happy to belong there. We would love to thank the members of the church, who gave so much love and support during her illness. I would like to thank all who helped care for her in her last few years. A special thanks to Rex, who gave his all for the love of his life. Sister Catherine Combs was a very kind, gentle and loving mother, to her family and everyone who knew her. She spent many years in the church. She was sick for the last few years of her life. We all believe she is now where there is no sickness, pain or suffering. We feel God has taken this loved one to a place of peace and joy. Where she can rest from the worries and troubles of this earth. We all miss her and the way she touched each one of us. She always had a kind word and a smiling face. She always made everyone feel welcome and loved around her. She'll be missed by us all, but we feel our loss is Heaven's gain. We must all strive to meet her some day.

As I sit and think of my Great Grandmother, Theonia Stanfill memories come flowing back from all the good times we had together. Grandma Stanfill could bring a smile to your face with her little "wisecracks" and jokes. I feel sort of jealous because someone else is enjoying her company and her sense of humor. Somehow the stars became brighter and the world a little darker the day she passed away. Grandma, as you spread your beautiful white wings and make your place in heaven we are all thinking of you with love in our hearts. I can't wait until the day we can hold your hand and walk down the streets of gold with you and the rest of God's children.
We miss you, Grandma. Jonathan
