Looking for information/photos of the Everage family. Dad is Sam
Henry (Everidge) Everage s/o Benjamin (Everidge) Everage.
Benjamin\'s brothers are Price, Tom, etc... Dad\'s and Ben\'s
certificates do say EVERIDGE but their was a typo or someone did not
know how to spell well apparently. They both spelled it EVERAGE
regardless of the spelling on the certificate. We\'d like to know
all the brothers and sisters, the great grand parents, etc... Dad
does not remember much at all, and has very few pictures of his
family. This is for a family tree we are working on and would also
make a wonderful Christmas gift for him. Sam\'s mother was Chloe
Singleton if this helps. |

Posted Friday, December 5, 2009 Jennifer Stivers stivers4@hotmail.com Would love any information you may have about the building (now a house) that sits across the street from the old Sutton Store and Vest Post Office in Vest, KY. This building initially served as a school and then became a craft center. Curious to know the history, dates, and other details that surround this building. Also, want to know if this building is already registered as a historical site. |

I have been searching for information on my gggrandfather William R. Craft; I recently received information that he was the son of Nancy Holbrook(s) and Nelson Roe Craft, born December 19, 1853, in Letcher County. They apparently were never married. I found a Letcher Co. birth record with the father\'s name not listed. Subsequently I found a Floyd County census record listing Nancy, her husband Winston Gipson and son William. My gggrandfather married Jane Wallen and named two of his sons Nelson Roe and Winston, so it appears to be accurate information. I have found numerous Knott Co. records of my grandfather William, my ggrandfather Winston (married Suzy Slone), Winston\'s brother Roe (Nelson Roe) and others; but very little on William. Does anyone have information regarding Nancy & Nelson or William? Or any part of this Craft family? |
